The capital city Bangkok turns incredibly quiet during Songkran Festival . Songkran festival is the Thai traditional new year ( same as Chinese lunar new year ) . It’s takes place during 13-15 April every year . During the holiday , people will go to temple for Buddha blessing , go back to their homeland in country and play splash for fun .
So , Bangkok is become vacant because most people go back to see their relatives in countryside . Most of the Bangkok residents are from country as then have to find the job and work here . That’s mean Bangkok would have very less or even no people and cars around in some places like you see in this photo . I took a shot when I was in sky walk that connect between Siam Paragon and Central World Plaza . I quite extremely rare to see this quiet moment in Bangkok . So , it’s look like you are only one in the world now . Very short period of time but it’s truly valuable as I can go anywhere easily and chilly . ?
Finally , I wish you people will be lucky , healthy , happy and safety during and after Songkran festivals . ?????
เมืองหลวงกรุงเทพฯกลายเป็นเมืองเงียบสงัดอย่างเหลือเชื่อในระหว่างเทศกาลสงกรานต์ ซึ่งเป็นวันปีใหม่ตามประเพณีไทย ( เช่นเดียวกับ ตรุษจีนของคนจีน ) วันที่ 13-15 เมษายนของทุกปี ในระหว่างวันหยุดนี้ ผมคนมากมายจะไปไหว้พระข้อพรที่วัด กลับภูมิลำเนาไปเยี่ยมครอบครัวที่ต่างจังหวัด และ เล่นสาดน้ำกันอย่างสนุกสนาน
ดังนั้นกรุงเทพฯจึงกลายเป็นเป็นเมืองว่างเนื่องจากคนส่วนมากเดินทางกลับภูมิลำเนาไปหาเครือญาติที่บ้านนอก ผู้อยู่อาศัยในกรุงเทพฯส่วนใหญ่เป็นคนที่มาจากชนบทเข้ามาหางานและทำงานที่นี่ นั่นหมายความว่าจะมีผู้คนหรือรถน้อยมาก หรือ อาจไม่มีในบางสถานที่อย่างที่เห็นในรูปนี้ ผมถ่ายตอนที่กำลังเดินบน Sky Walk ที่เชื่อมระหว่าง Siam Paragon และ Central World Plaza เป็นโอกาสที่หายากมากๆที่จะได้เห็นกรุงเทพฯกลายเป็นเมืองเงียบเช่นนี้ พอเดินไปก็รู้สึกเหมือนกับว่าอยู่คนเดียวในโลก แม้ว่ามันจะเป็นช่วงเวลาสั้นๆแต่ก็ล้ำค่ามากๆเพราะผมสามารถเกินทางไปไหนก็ง่ายและสะดวกหมดครับ ?
